Sandy's Stables is located at 4565 Stover Road, in the beautiful town of Bellaire, Michigan.   Our  location offers scenic Trail Rides plus the opportunity for horse boarding and indoor riding in our Coverall Arena.

       A second barn serves as the  Headquarters for Sandy's trail riding business and a Gift & Tack Shop.  Her staff will be anxiously waiting to take folks on  beautiful and scenic trail rides.  The Stable's will be offering Trail rides, Pony rides, Lessons and Junior Lessons.  We invite you to stop in our Gift & Tack Shop displaying art work and crafts of  local artists, horse supplies and tack and other neat stuff.

     Behind the Trail Riding Headquarters is the 60' x 120'  Coverall Indoor Arena where Western/English riding lessons and Kids Kamp is scheduled.   The Inside Arena will be available to rent for other events and activities.   Please call for availability and pricing.

      The Petting Farm is here for all to enjoy.  The picnic area is a great location to sit and relax while taking in the sites, smells and sounds of the ranch.  Sandy will also be planning other events that will include: square dances, campfire sing-a-longs,  moonlight rides in the fall, and a Halloween party.  Remember to  keep checking our website for updates and seasonal riding events.

For vacationers that are coming to our area for a vacation and want to bring their horses along to enjoy our trails or for locals that want to go on vacation and need a good, safe, worry-free place for their horse(s) to stay while they are on vacation.  We will be gald to love on them for you when you can not.

Indoor boarding:  $12/night/horse,  includes hay and grain 2x/day

Outdoor Boarding: $8/night/horse,  includes hay and grain 2x/day

Current Coggins  test is required.

 

We have several horses available  to choose from for leasing.  With the lease progam you will have full scheduled use of the indoor arena along with all of our trails and be able to ride all you like.  It is like having your own horse but no long term commitment or big up front cost.   The lease program runs from October 16 - April 30 and is $115/month (use of saddle, pad, bridle and board included).  We have established this program to allow us to fiancially afford to keep more of our horses through the winter months.  Several of our horses are also available for purchase so why not lease them first to make sure they are the right one for you before you buy.   Please call Sandy at (231) 533-9075 quickly to reserve your horse! 

 

Kids DayKamps run from 9am-1pm and are for children from ages 9 - 12.  The cost is $40 per student and the class is limited to 6 students with a minimum of 4 students so hurry and call to book your child now, spots fill up fast!  This class teaches your child about saftely around the horse, how to properly groom, tack, mount, dismount, stop, walk, turn, and trot on horseback.  Then we focus on teaching a specific event  and for the last half hour of the class parents are invited to come watch the student compete and show off their new skills.  The 2012 class dates are as follows:  July 5, July 19,  Aug 2, Aug 16.
